The Nissen Hut

This photo was taken standing with the single story music classroom (MAV: Language Lab) is on the right. The building behind the Nissen Hut is Block-11 which was the NAAFI canteen when I was at the school.

So what was the nissen hut used for during your time at the school?

As commented by me elsewhere, the Nissen hut in 1965 when I was in the Lower 6th was the Junior Common Room - entry to strangers by invitation only :-)) - and the Careers room. This is a fine photograph. Precisely 50 years ago and it seems like yesterday (well, almost...).
